Calpestop allows the screed to be completely decoupled from its substrate, all vertical building structures and penetrating pipework, resulting in a significant reduction of impact noise transmission.
Improves the acoustic performance of Laterlite screeds and screeds.
Calpestop is compatible with Laterlite lightweight and technical screeds.
Thickness ranges from 3 to 10 mm

The CalpeStop range consists of chemically cross-linked, closed-cell expanded polyethylene foam elastic matting – density approx. 30 kg/m³, thermal conductivity λ 0,0372 W/mK – available in different thicknesses and types, faced with different materials (aluminium, wadding, geotextile).
Supplied in rolls, perimeter flanking band is available separately as an accessory.
VERSIONS
Super: , faced on one side with a sheet of goffered aluminium that increases resistance to abrasion and vapour.
Available in thicknesses of 3, 5, and 10 mm.
Super 3 : Overall thickness: approx. 3 mm – Dynamic stiffness 40 MN/m3
Super 5 : Overall thickness: approx. 5 mm – Dynamic stiffness 31 MN/m3
Super 10 : Overall thickness: approx. 10 mm – Dynamic stiffness 25 MN/m3
Super TNT: the matting (thickness 5 mm) is faced on its lower side with a sheet of goffered aluminium foil and on its upper side with a special nonwoven fabric that increases its resistance to abrasion.
Available in thicknesses 5 mm.
Overall thickness: approx. 5 mm – Dynamic stiffness 35 MN/m3
TNT: the matting (thickness 5 mm) is faced on its lower side with special wadding (approx. thickness 3 mm) and on its upper side with a special nonwoven fabric that increases its resistance to abrasion. Overall thickness: approx. 8 mm.
Available in thicknesses 8 mm: polyethylene foam 5 mm + wadding 3 mm.

Flanking band: uncoated polyethylene foam insulating strip, adhesive on one side, intended to act as a buffer to reduce flanking noise transmission and to decouple the screeds from vertical building structures and penetrating pipework.
