A dry levelling compound for dry screeds and fills made of lightweight granulates is used in floor construction for:
- rapidly laying, levelling and insulating layers on top of a slab
- to obtain a defined level on inflected or irregular supports (e.g. old timber suspended floors or uneven new concrete slabs)
- integrating service runs, even in shallow screeds
- filling voids between the components of timber suspended floors (battens and beams) to give thermal and acoustic insulation
Laterlite Plus dry levelling compound is extremely lightweight (330 kg/m3 which means a minimum dead load on slabs with poor load-bearing capacity), thermally insulating, sound absorbent, strong, stable, durable, incombustible (Euroclass A1), cannot be attacked by parasites,
As a dry aggregate that does not absorb water, it is safe to use in contact with wood or other perishable materials and significantly reduces any risks deriving from incorrect storage on site.
